Boeing B737-700 CAMO Services

Charles Taylor Aviation Asset Management (CTAAM) assisted with the early return of two B737-700 aircraft in an “as is where is” condition. CTAAM were able to utilise their global network to ensure immediate onsite assistance was available to ensure the aircraft technical records were extracted safely and coordinate requests for information before the airline shut down its engineering operations. The records were transported to CTAAM’s Ringwood office where they were reviewed and updated by their technical and planning department. CTAAM provided Continuing Airworthiness Management services throughout the project, which included managing the aircraft whilst in storage and also providing onsite technical representation during the return to service and bridging check. CTAAM hosted the delivery process for the new lessee in their Ringwood office and submitted permit to fly applications to the Irish
Aviation Authority for both aircraft and also assisted with arrangement of Part-145 support during the ferry flight.

Chris Brennan, Operation Director, CTAAM commented;

“This was a great project for CTAAM to be involved with as it enabled us to demonstrate a wide range of our core services. The two aircraft were on an Irish National Certificate of Airworthiness and both aircraft were successfully delivered to the next
lessee in the USA”

Airbus A330 CAMO Services

CTAAM has supported the importation of an A330 aircraft from the FAA Register onto the UK CAA Register. The aircraft records were inducted into a controlled environment and Continuing Airworthiness Management services were provided during the aircraft reconfiguration and bridging check. CTAAM issued a Certificate of Airworthiness Recommendation for the aircraft and an EASA Certificate of Airworthiness and Airworthiness Review Certificate were issued after a successful survey from the UK CAA Authorities.

Chris Brennan, Operation Director, CTAAM commented;

“The asset management team worked closely with all involved to enable this project to be a great success. The aircraft delivered to the next lessee a few days ahead of schedule.”

Embraer 145 CAMO Services

CTAAM has been providing Technical Asset Management for a fleet of Embraer 145 aircraft for a number of years. CTAAM have recently been managing the redelivery of three of these aircraft, the first of which has been ferried to the UK for short term storage and successfully delivered to the new owner.

CTAAM supported the registration transfer and completed the Certificate of Airworthiness application on behalf of the owner. CTAAM also used their EASA CAMO approval to issue a Certificate of Airworthiness Recommendation and an EASA Certificate of Airworthiness and Airworthiness Review Certificate were issued after a successful survey from the UK CAA Authorities.

Chris Brennan, Operation Director, CTAAM commented;

“We have been providing technical asset management services for these aircraft for many years. Due to the regular inspections that CTAAM have performed and our detailed knowledge of the aircraft, we were able to highlight and manage the critical issues that needed to be addressed to allow a smooth delivery to the next owner.”
