Charles Taylor acquires KnowledgeCenter

Charles Taylor has acquired KnowledgeCenter a leading provider of tailored business solutions to the insurance industry.
The deal gives Charles Taylor a competitive advantage on key technology products and processes which it can combine with its own highly regarded range of insurance support services. It also provides KnowledgeCenter with the resources and financial strength to further develop its market leading business process and document management software solutions.
Established in 2001, KnowledgeCenter provides business solutions to many leading insurers, including QBE, Beazley, Amlin, GulfRe, Generali, Munich Re and Advent. Its clients are based in international insurance markets in the UK, USA, Canada, Europe, Latin America, Bermuda and Dubai.
KnowledgeCenter holds the intellectual property rights in its products and solutions, enabling it to be proactive in meeting clients' business needs. This is complemented by the strength of its development and delivery teams who have extensive product knowledge and domain expertise.
Charles Taylor KnowledgeCenter has become part of Charles Taylor Insurance Support Services, the Group’s specialist outsourced insurance services provider. Kevin Osborn, a founder and managing director of KnowledgeCenter and the other directors of the business will be instrumental in driving the business forward under Charles Taylor’s ownership.
