Charles Taylor Adjusting appoints Strategy & Business Development Director and Legal Counsel & Compliance Officer

Charles Taylor Adjusting (CTA) a leading international loss adjuster primarily focused on commercial claims has appointed two key members to its senior management team.

James Norman joins as Strategy & Business Development Director and Sean O’Dowd joins as Legal Counsel & Compliance Officer.

James NormanNorman has over 17 years of insurance industry experience having worked at numerous international insurers, a global broker and a law firm. Prior to joining CTA, he worked as a Regional Practice Head at KPMG East Africa, where he developed all aspects of the practice including strategy, business development and innovation. He will be responsible for the development and delivery of longer-term business development activities and growth opportunities across CTA.

Sean OdowdO’Dowd brings over 26 years’ expertise as an international lawyer/ compliance counsel with experience working in senior in-house roles as General Counsel, Head of Legal and Senior European Counsel in the UK and other EMEA regions. Prior to joining CTA, he was recently the Group Exec: Legal for a large loss adjusting and claims management firm in its South Africa division. He will be responsible for the legal and compliance functions for CTA globally.
