About This Individual
Alan started out in aviation in 1980 as a Royal Air Force apprentice, he left the air force in 1988 having worked on a variety of small and large turbine engined aircraft, and since that time has worked for a variety of UK and overseas based aviation companies as a licensed aircraft engineer on a wide variety of aircraft types. Most recently he was employed at the UK Hawker Beechcraft service centre as the Fixed Wing Engineering Manager. He has current EASA engineering licence coverage on a wide range of light and corporate aircraft types including turbine engine helicopters together with extensive experience of traditional and composite aircraft structural repair work, he is also an active powered aircraft and glider pilot with over 3000 hrs total flight time. Alan joined Charles Taylor Adjustin in January 2009.
