With 30 years continuous employment in aircraft maintenance, Alan holds both EASA PART 66 B1 and US FAA A&P aircraft maintenance engineer’s licenses. Alan became the Technical Director in August 2012 and holds the position of Continuing Airworthiness Manager as part of the company UK CAA Part M, Sub Part G (CAMO) approval. Alan has been performing lease termination inspections and aircraft mid-lease inspections on behalf of CTAAM since 2006. This also includes the monitoring of heavy maintenance checks and technical records auditing. Alan is experienced in the transfer of aircraft to/from different jurisdictions, with extensive knowledge of local airworthiness conditions and de- registration/re-registration requirements. Prior to his employment with CTAAM, Alan worked as a Technical Manager in a project management environment involved in the maintenance checks of a wide diversity of aircraft types from small passenger jets, such as Embraer 145 and BAE146/RJ aircraft to Airbus A340, Boeing 747-400.
