Since University graduation in 1995 Andrew has attained Professional Chartership as both a Mechanical Engineer and Loss Adjuster. For the first 5 years of Andrew’s career he worked as a design engineer servicing both the Mining and Oil and Gas industries. Specifically Andrew has been involved in the design and installation of crushing/ conveying equipment, process piping and vessel design to the Australian gold, alumina, cement and mineral sands industries. With respect to energy projects, Andrew has been involved with both subsea and topsides engineering design including subsea pipeline, manifold and riser design (both flexible and hard pipe) and the design and commissioning of rotating equipment onboard platforms and FPSOs to oil majors throughout Australasia. In 2000 Andrew made the transition into Loss Adjusting and since that time he has specialised in the adjustment of multimillion dollar insurance claims emanating out of the onshore and offshore Energy, Mining and Construction sectors. Typical engineering claims experience includes the adjustment of property damage, liability, delay in start-up, loss of production income and contract works losses that have resulted from flood, explosion, derailment, machinery breakdown and the like. In 2008/9 Andrew also worked as an energy broker for 14 months at one of the major broking houses.
