About This Individual
Guy is an Energy Loss Adjuster with 28 years of broad based experience in both the upstream and downstream energy industry including Oil Sands and Heavy Oil areas. Guy holds a Bachelor of Science, Honors in Mechanical Engineering from Queen’s University.
Prior to initiating a career in the insurance industry, Guy was involved in almost all aspects of the energy industry including purchasing, drilling support, refinery operation, maintenance, process safety, risk management, design, and project management. Ten years of this engineering and operations experience was in the Oilsands.
Guy began his career in the insurance profession in 2001 when he joined Petro-Canada’s Risk Management department as the corporate Senior Risk Engineer responsible for managing the insurance portfolio for the Refining division. After four years of managing claims on behalf of Petro-Canada, Guy started working for Charles Taylor providing support for a number of large Oilsands claims.
Guy has since worked on assignments throughout Western Canada and has a broad spectrum of loss adjusting experience including Property, Business Interruption, Pollution Liability and General Liability.
