  • John joined Charles Taylor Adjusting in 2004
  • Seconded to CTA Singapore office in 2005, subsequently handling a large number of claims, including major hull losses, complex repairs, assisting in litigious claims, GA claims and undertaking risk surveys
  • Re-joined our London team as a Senior Surveyor in 2011 after nearly 7 years in Asia
  • John has extensive experience working and certifying heavy commercial jet aircraft and held airframe and engine licences, as well as several type approvals, whilst working for British Airways at Heathrow between 1988 and 2001
  • John obtained a Commercial Pilot Licence with Multi Engine and Instrument ratings when undertaking a full time, ab-initio Frozen Airline Transport Pilot Licence course at Western Michigan University, United States between 2001 and 2003
  • Moved to Mexico City in early 2015 to head up CTA’s Aviation department, as Resident Manager, where he is currently involved in overseeing the growth of CTA’s aviation presence whilst handling numerous aviation losses in Mexico and Latin America

  • Obtained Commercial Pilots Licence with Multi Engine and Instrument Ratings
  • Licenced Aircraft Engineer (Airframe and Engine) at British Airways (Concorde and B747-400)
