Biography:

  • Obi has over 18 years loss adjusting experience.
  • He joined CTA Qatar in 2008 coming from a multinational firm before joining our Toronto office in 2014.
  • With his mechanical engineering background, he has been adjusting claims under most lines of insurance specializing in commercial P&C, EAR, CAR and consequential losses. He has also been extensively involved in FI and Marine claims.
  • Obi has also handled claims relating to Fine Art, Jewelers’ Block and mining.

  • Massive fire loss to the audience grandstand of the Doha Open Tennis & Squash Complex, 2010.
  • Nominated marine surveyor to monitor the transhipment and final discharge as well as inland transport of all mega-sized machinery and equipment for the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Trains 7 & 8 projects in Ras Laffan Industrial City, Qatar and adjuster of any claims reported pre, during and post transit. 2011-2013
  • Massive fire at the Middle East / North Africa main distribution hub for Toyota and Lexus cars and spare-parts in Jeddah Saudi Arabia in 2002.
  • Marine cargo surveyor and transhipment observer for the major grounding incident of RoRo MV “GRAND PACE” at Strait of Bab Al-Mandeb in Yemen in 2001.
