About This Individual
Sheila is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan with a degree in Chemical Engineering. She joined the Alberta Energy & Utilities Board (AEUB) in 1983 where she held various engineering positions. She specialized in Well Abandonment and Well Control Requirements and became the EUB Drilling and Completion Team Leader. Sheila authored the Well Abandonment Procedures for the Province of Alberta, which remains in place today. In 1997, Sheila became a consultant to the oil & gas industry and an instructor of petroleum technology at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) where she taught Fluid Mechanics, Corrosion Chemistry and Petroleum Economics. In 2000, Sheila entered the adjusting profession and has specialized in Drilling, Control of Well and In-Hole Equipment losses.
